Review: Innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse in #3 and #7

Hello everyone~!

Like I promised, I finally have an actual makeup product review! I've had this post in my drafts for....quite awhile to be honest. >.< I just haven't had the time to write the actual post! But I finally told myself to stop with the procrastinating and just write the post already, so let's just get into the review!

Anjolee - The Art of Jewelry Review

*Featured product was provided for review but opinions are 100% honest

{Wow I haven't posted a selfie of myself on this blog in awhile~}

Hello everyone! I hope you guys had an amazing Thanksgiving break with your loved ones. ^_^ I spent mine in my University and surprisingly, I did not eat one bite of that darn special American delicacy, the turkey. (My thanksgiving meal actually consisted of pizza, breadsticks, and smores hot chocolate~ hehe). I also hope you guys scored BIG during Black Friday and Cyber Monday! I bought quite a few things myself! (Let's give my empty wallet a moment of silence doe.../cries). I hope to do a Black Friday/Cyber Monday haul for you guys, but I'm not too sure if I'll be able to post it anytime soon. Unfortunately when Black Friday passes, that means I'm one week away from Finals. :( I have a whole bunch of essays to do still...ahhh...this college life though is a pain.

But, I'm spending a bit of today to focus on my forgotten blog. I'm actually super excited to share this post with you guys! A few weeks ago, a company emailed me asking if I'd be interested in working with them. As a blogger who hasn't posted as frequently as before and who hasn't had time to focus on their blog as much, I was surprised I even got emails from shops asking for some collaborations! Of course I emailed back saying I'd love to work with them. So without further ado...let me introduce you to: Anjolee!

Review: Etude House XOXO Minnie Touch Blusher

hello hello~

I keep apologizing to you guys for not updating my blog >.< Uni life can be so hard sometimes. :( But nevertheless, I have a short little review for you guys on this little baby right here:

Etude House XOXO Minnie Touch Blusher~

I know guys...don't be harsh. I'm a bit late in reviewing this little baby, but it's alright~ It is a blusher that will give you the cuteness of Minnie Mouse~ And I absolutely love the packaging of this Etude House x Minnie Collection blusher~ It is in a cute pink box with Minnie's signature bow on it, and a bunch of hearts and cute sayings~ kyaaa~ <3

So the back of the box is it's directions.

This is a multi blusher that flushes cheeks for a lovely Minnie look.

{Directions} Pick up blusher by gently sweeping brush across Minnie's face and apply onto cheeks.

Simple enough directions, so let's just get into the actual product!

{I do apologize for not taking pictures of the product before using it...I got excited too quickly...}

But ta da! As you guys can {hopefully} see, the blush is in the face of Minnie Mouse! I think the product itself is the most cutest makeup product I've ever owned. Just look at it!! I wish Minnie's face would stay on forever, but as you guys can already tell, her face will disappear after 2-3 uses. :(

The compact itself, is cute as well~ It is polka dots with a sexycough image of Minnie on the cover~ Unfortunately it does not come with a mirror... >.< So it's just the blusher inside.

Minnie's face contains 3 shades.

 A) Peach, B) Pink, and C) Lavender

 {Swatches: From left to right -- Peach, Pink, Lavender, All 3}

The colors are bright and pastel. I think when mixed together, the colors are a perfect match with each other.

{Left: No Blush, Right: Blush}

I'm not too sure if you guys can see the difference this blush made to my cheeks...but this blusher gives a soft flush of pink. It's really subtle, making it appear natural on my skin. For some, it may be too sheer of an application, but for me I like the effect it gives my cheeks. When I wear it, I just feel more girly and kawaii~ ^_^

The only downside of this blush is its fallout and how chalky it is when used. So. Much. Powder. >.< And it doesn't last that long on your cheeks. Possibly 3-4 hours at most. Since the blusher is a bit on the light side pertaining to color, it also only matches those with lighter toned skin. My skin is borderline tan, so it looks slighly off, but because I use powder that is lighter than my skin tone, it blends in quite nicely.

Also, this product is really delicate. I read a lot of reviews where shipping caused this product to crack and break during transportation. Many bloggers received their blusher and/or highlighter duo broken and crushed into powder, even when it was wrapped up and shipped really nicely. So please be careful and buy from a trusted website that would refund and/or give you a new product in exchange. :)

OVERALL RATING:

4/5

I definitely would use this for an everyday sort of blush. It gives me that perfect flush on my cheeks in the morning and I love it's cute packaging. I wish it wasn't that powdery, but I guess I can live with the chalkyness. It lasts about 3-4 hours on my cheeks, which is fine by me, however I do wish it'd last longer. It would be convenient if it also had a mirror, but I can live without one too.  A lot of improvements could be made to make this blush a lot better, but it works for an everyday, natural flusher for the cheeks. I think it'd be a good product for beginners who are just being introduced to blushers. :)

 So thank you guys for reading this short little blog post! HUGE thanks to Lee Ji Eun for providing me with all of these wonderful products I've been reviewing recently! <3

Review: Skinfood Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream in #2

*this post contains many bare-faced pictures

OTL So please forgive my lack of blogging! Hopefully I'll be able to post at least twice a month till I end my freshman year in May! I haven't forgotten about my blog guys...so don't worry. :)

Review: Etude House Rosy Tint Lips in #3 Rose Petal

Hello hello my sweets~!

I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a month... >.< Uni has just been extremely...extremely difficult for me these past few weeks so ごめんなさいみなさん! However, I'm back today for a short little review on Etude House's Rosy Tint Lips in #3 Rose Petal!

I know I know...this product is so old already. But I still really wanted to try it out! Since Spring is coming around the corner (can't believe we're in March already!), I thought this color would be perfect for the floral season~ So thank you Lee Ji Eun for sponsoring me this product from Cosmetic.Jolse!

So let's just get into the short review~

Product Info:

"With a tinge of red, the blossoms like a rose in full bloom, The story of her and the rose & Rose***"

This velvet type Tint Lips comes with a soft delicate texture and rich color to express lips of a rosy petal.

{Directions}

Tip 1) Delicate Petal Lip Gradation:
 ~ Dab a certain amount onto center of upper and lower lips and use tip to evenly spread

Tip 2) Rose in Full Bloom Lip Cover:
 ~ Smoothly glide onto lips, starting from inner to outer direction

Tip 3) Soft Petal Cheeks:
 ~ Dispense a certain amount and dab lightly onto both cheeks, blending quickly with fingers.

Packaging:

The packaging to this product is fairly decent. It comes in a small lip color matching tube, big enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Compared to the packaging of the box, the actual lip product isn't as cute as what I had hoped, but it works nonetheless.

The applicator has a sponge tip which I definitely do not like at all. :(

Since the lippie has really dense packaging, it is extremely hard to squeeze the product out and the sponge tip is hard to clean and very unsanitary. :[

Results:

If you guys can't tell, this product has a matte finish. It's extremely pigmented to say the least. Which I absolutely love.

Although you guys can't tell in the picture, this lip product is not suitable for dry lips. It will sink into the dead skin on your lips and make your lips look even dryer than they already are. So if you want to wear it, please exfoliate and wear lip balm!

Overall:

 3.9 / 5

I fairly enjoyed this new lippy product~ Although it's not my favorite with it's inconvenient sponge tip applicator and god forsaken dense packaging that makes it impossible for weak girls like me to actually get the product out, /gaspforair, the Etude House Rosy Tint Lips are extremely pigmented and the matte finish it leaves behind is really pretty~ It doesn't quite reach up to my purchase again standard, but if you like a pigmented and matte spring time collection, check out Etude House's Rosy Lip Tints!

Tips and tricks to work around the sponge applicator though is to use a lip brush, squeeze the product out as hard as you can, and apply the color using the brush. If you want less of a matte finish, apply lip balm ahead of time, so you have an easier time gliding the color all over your lips and topping it off with a gloss~

♡ Valentine's Day Makeup Tutorial for Monolids ♡

Hello my lovable bunnies!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile...Spring Semester just started for me and I'm already stuffed full with assignments, applications, and essays >.<

But nevertheless, I have an exciting post for you guys!

I have a cute makeup tutorial for you guys!!!

Specifically for Monolids~ (Because...I'm a monolid myself~ But this look can be achieved whether you have a double lid or not~)

Some of you guys commented in my last review post about Etude Falsies {which you can find here}, about my makeup in it, and during that review, I was actually trying something new that could be used for Valentine's Day. So I thought...why not just make it into a tutorial!

{Mind you...it's not that good...this is my first tutorial by the way >.<}

But let's just get into the tutorial!

Here are the items I used:
{I forgot to add in my eyeliner which was just a Wet n Wild Mega Liner in Brown}

 - BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette
- Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in No. 27
- Physician's Formula Happy Boosting Blush in Rose
-Benefit High Beam
- Loreal Colour Riche Caresse Stain in Pink Resistance
- Covergirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara in Black
- Nourish Organic Face Lotion

Starting off with the FACE (BASE):

Using my Missha BB cream, I applied it all over my face, using the leftover combination on my dark circles.

Then, I used my Covergirl Clean Oil Control Pressed Powder and applied it all over my face to get a matte finish. (This step is optional! I just don't like that much dewy on my face)

EYES:

I used Saturn (step 2), Jupiter (step 3), Prometheus and Aphrodite (step 4) and Sun (step 5) from the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Palette for this eye look. I also used Wet n Wild's Mega Liner in Brown as the eyeliner, and Etude House Wonder Volume False Eyelashes.

{Don't judge my tutorial....it was my first one!! >.<}

Things not added to the picture above:

Apply mascara to top and bottom lashes. And use the darkest pink on outer 1/3 bottom lashline. Apply highlighting color on inner corner of eyes as well!

FACE (ENHANCERS):

Using a soft pink blush, SMILE! And apply it to the apples of your cheeks~

 Optional Step!

Apply some highlighter to the bridge of your nose, high points of your cheek, cupid's bow and chin! After spreading it all out, your face should glow when it catches the light~

 LIPS:
You're almost done!

Apply a light pink lip color to your lips!

Hint: If you use a lip tint or stain, it'll last longer on your lips and won't transfer onto another person...I mean your drinking cup. :)

 Fix your hair, and put on a nice dress and you should be ready for Valentine's Day!

 This look is definitely on the cute, but flirty side~

I think it's perfect for a date with a loved one, or just going out with your girlfriends! This look can be used anytime of the year, especially if you love using bright pinks! ;)

I LOVE this makeup right now, and I can't wait for Valentine's Day to come around~ Although I'll be all alone this year, I'll look cute~ So...I guess that makes up for being dateless! :D

Here are more pictures!

Did my nails too! Valentine's Day Manicure~

 So that's all for my post!

Some tips for those who's going on a Valentine's Day Date:

1. Always remember to smile! It's your best and most perfect feature~
2. Whatever you decide to get for your date, as long as it comes from the heart, he/she will love it no matter what!
3. Just be yourself! Your date loves you because your you~

Some tips for those who's not going on a Valentine's Day Date:

3. Treat Valentine's Day as a 'I love Me' day! Do whatever makes you happy~

Review: Etude House XOXO Minnie Kissing Lips

Heyhey bunnies! Thank you to those whose helped me with my Field Study! You guys can still help me by going over to THIS POST and answering my two questions! I need all the help I can get :)

Anyway, today I have another lippie product sponsored by Cosmetic.Jolse.  If you don't know what online store I'm talking about, please read my Introducing Jolse post! {which you can find here}. Awesome store, awesome products, on to the review!

Etude House XOXO Minnie Kissing Lips
in #01 Minnie Red!

I'm such a slow blogger and get so far behind on what companies are doing these days...but as you guys might have known, Etude House paired up with Disney and released their Etude House x Minnie Collection. I won't go into the collection because I'm sure many of you already know most of the items in the collection. But basically, Etude House had Minnie blushes, nail polishes, eyelashes, lippies and more~ ^^

The Minnie Kissing Lips come in two colors.

#01 Minnie Red
and
#02 Bubble Pink

The packaging to this little red lippie is of course, cute. Etude House has a knack for always making their products the cutest thing ever. I love the little Minnie Mouse bar code on the bottom of the box. So adorable.

{Description} This creamy lipstick provides a hydrating color with soft shine.
{Directions} Apply on the center of the lips and blend.

Description and directions in Korean~

So the lipstick itself is a simple white tube with the Minnie logo on the middle along with a plain black bottom. I like the simple packaging. It's classic!

{I apologize for the ugly tip of the bullet. I forgot to take a picture of it before I used it >.<}

The bullet itself is a true, bright and pigmented red.

{left to right: tip of bullet - one swipe - two swipes}

I don't think this lippie has much of a smell. But it's texture is super creamy and buttery~ I love the feeling it has on my lips when I wear it because it's not over drying.

Bare lips

Lips with #01 Minnie Red

I personally LOVE this red lipstick! It's now one of my favorite red lippies I have and I think I'll be using it all this week~

Overall Rating:
5/5

The Etude House XOXO Minnie Kissing Lips are really great lipsticks~ They are very pigmented, very moisturizing, last for about 4 hours with eating and drinking. (Mainly because it's a darker color so it stains my lips~) It's a very pretty lip color and of course the packaging is super cute! ^_^

Ending this post with photos of me with this gorgeous baby!

Kisses! I love you my bunnies!
